Autism Resource Center

The Autism Resource Center provides both autism assessments and parent support in person and online.

In-person ADOS-2 evaluations are offered on a limited, case-by-case basis for families located within approximately 1.5 hours of ZIP codes 78676 and 78665, including communities in Central Texas and the I-35 corridor between Austin and San Antonio, such as Wimberley, Dripping Springs, Kyle, Buda, San Marcos, Austin, Round Rock, Georgetown, and surrounding areas.

For families outside our local service area, ARC offers secure virtual diagnostic evaluations and parent consultations throughout Texas and select neighboring states. Virtual services may include caregiver interviews, standardized rating scales, record review, and clear follow-up recommendations to support next steps in care and support.

Parent Support & Consultations: We provide virtual parent support and consultation services to families throughout Texas. These sessions help parents identify their child’s needs, explore assessment options, and access personalized recommendations for school supports, community resources, and next steps in care.

In-person support is also available for families and individuals in the Wimberley, TX area, offering one-on-one guidance and direct collaboration with our clinicians.

Payment & Insurance Information

ARC offers both insurance-based and self-pay options, depending on the service provided. Diagnostic evaluations are offered as self-pay services, while parent training services may be billed to insurance or provided as self-pay, depending on eligibility and family preference. Coverage and reimbursement vary by insurance plan, and families are encouraged to verify benefits directly with their insurance provider.
