Find Support and Resources for your Family.

We know you’re on a long journey and we’re here to support you through it.

Most families come to us through a referral from a school or family physician. Scared, lost, and a little confused, they are unsure of where to begin and how to confidently move forward.

We’re here to guide families to the answers they desire, talk about concerns and worries, and develop a logical plan for moving forward based on the individual needs of the child and their family.

Our Process

Assess

For families navigating the initial diagnosis process, we perform in-home diagnostic evaluations based on a referral from your child’s medical provider. Through the diagnostic evaluation, we gather comprehensive information about your child, as well as conduct a direct assessment, resulting in a comprehensive report for medical providers and families to review. The diagnostic report is then utilized by the medical provider in conjunction with their own observations and any additional information to rule in/out medical diagnoses.

Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) evaluations allow us to listen, look, and assess - gauging the family dynamics and needs for long and short-term improvements in school, home, and the community.  This evaluation drives the development of programming and goals to target and monitor future growth. This includes goals for the child and the family.

Plan

Based on our evaluation, we collaborate with families to develop an individualized therapeutic family plan and work with parents, therapists, schools, and physicians to determine what is best for each child and family. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Referrals to additional service providers, as needed

  • Information and support for understanding and navigating  the school system

  • Long-term and future planning needs

  • Specific resources for the family

  • An ABA evaluation report that can be transferred to a provider for one-to-one direct therapy,  if needed

Support

Navigating the system can be scary and complicated, we know this all too well. We listen to our families and provide meaningful and comprehensive guidance, referrals, and resources. We will hear your concerns and discuss your needs. We will give you options that suit the needs of your child and your family. You will get to continue being the parent instead of the researcher, therapist, and scheduler for your child. As we continue through the process, you will feel confident in your decisions and learn how to advocate for your child and your family.

Let’s Get Started

  • When families suspect neurodivergence, a diagnostic evaluation can provide more information to rule in/out different conditions that may impact the child’s development. Our diagnostic evaluation process is primarily focused on characteristics of autism spectrum disorder, however we may be able to provide more insight and information on overall development and delays observed. Diagnostic evaluations are conducted in partnership with your child’s medical provider to include multiple sources of information in a comprehensive diagnostic process.

  • Starting with the foundation of an assessment establishes an understanding of where your child's strengths and skill levels range across several benchmarks, including behavior, communication, social and adaptive skills. This information provides the basis for where to begin, what goals to set, and what structures to put in place. Behavioral assessment and skills training is a highly effective intervention for a wide range of neurodivergent individuals!

  • Children are wonderfully unique and those with autism and neurodivergence may require more individualized parenting and life skills training than others. Our family collaboration and support helps parents, children, and siblings feel supported and confident in every day communication and in the decisions they make. Parent and family collaboration and support is appropriate for families who have children with neurodivergence. This includes, but is not limited to autism, intellectual disabilities, ADD/ADHD, Down Syndrome, or general difficulties navigating their world.

  • You’re on a long journey and we’re here to help. We have connections, partnerships, and relationships with medical providers, schools, clinics, and other organizations to ensure a whole child/family support and continuation of care and support.
